How do you cool your house down without breaking the bank?
You do it the Texas way…
We love to complain about the heat in Namibia, right? But did you know that in Texas temperatures can climb up to almost 40 Degrees Celsius? Ja… that… is hot.
But so, they have a thing they do, called Texas cool, and it is brilliant!
As soon as the sun sets, and temperatures drop, they open everything! Doors and windows, and they switch on their fans, because it brings in the cooler air. And then, as soon as the sun comes up again? Boom, they shut everything, because it keeps the cool air in.
I like it… And I will definitely be trying it!
