Namibians heeded the call on Saturday, 28 October for the first Breast Cancer walk in the post-COVID era. As mentioned in the previous blog in which Rolf Hansen, CEO of the Cancer Association implored Namibians to take part and show their support in the fight against cancer, Namibians responded in their droves – estimates of numbers participating range from 750 – 900! On a busy pay day weekend with a World Cup Final, Oktober Fest and the Gravity Cup Schools Sports event on the cards, that is an incredible number! It was a great event that Nova1035 was a proud supporter of – and we hope that the next one will be even bigger and even better! Thanks to everyone who turned out on the day – you have displayed what can turn the tide against cancer – solidarity and support.
