While things like Carbon or Methane Credits are somewhat controversial and definitely have their detractors, it is still good news that Google at least seems to be trying to do something to help offset the growing emissions and other environmental harms being done by data centres though schemes like the enhanced rock-weathering project they are funding in Brazil.
