Sometimes, the things that hurt us in relationships… don’t start out as obvious red flags.
They don’t look dramatic.
They don’t feel wrong immediately.
In fact, at first… they can even feel like something positive.
Like someone who wants to spend all their time with you — it feels flattering.
Until you realise there’s no space for your own life.
Or someone who’s very intense early on — lots of attention, lots of compliments.
It feels exciting… until it becomes inconsistent.
Or someone who avoids difficult conversations.
At first, it feels like they’re “easy-going”…
until nothing ever gets resolved.
The truth is, not every red flag shows up as a warning sign in the beginning.
Some of them only become clear over time.
That’s why it’s important to pay attention to patterns — not just moments.
Because what feels good at the start… doesn’t always stay healthy in the long run.
