Die Vereniging van Uitsaaiveterane vier vandag, 5 Augustus 2026, sy tweede bestaansjaar by Mugg&Bean in Wernhil, Windhoek. Daarmee herdenk ons twee jaar van belegging in die toekoms van uitsaaiwese. Sedert sy stigting het die Vereniging suksesvol voornemende uitsaaiers op skool- en universiteitsvlak opgelei, terwyl dit ook gehelp het met die vestiging van twee skoolradiostasies om leerders praktiese uitsaai-ervaring te bied. As deel van sy voortdurende verbintenis tot jeugontwikkeling, sal die Vereniging in die komende weke jong uitsaaiers bystaan met die bekendstelling van ’n weeklikse jeugprogram op ’n kommersiële radiostasie in Namibië, Nova 103.5. Die program sal jong uitsaaiers insluit wat die Vereniging se opleiding voltooi het, en hulle die geleentheid bied om hul aanbiedingsvaardighede op die lug te ontwikkel onder leiding en mentorskap van ervare, professionele uitsaaipersone. “Die toekoms van uitsaaiwese hang af van die geleenthede wat ons vandag vir jongmense skep,” het die sameroeper van die Vereniging van Uitsaaiveterane, Kolie van Coller, gesê. “Ons is trots op wat die afgelope twee jaar bereik is en bly DV verbind tot die begeleiding en inspirasie van die volgende generasie uitsaaiers.” - met ons inspirasie en krag vervat in ons leuse, Filippense 4:13 – Ek is tot alles in staat deur Christus wat my krag gee. Terwyl die Vereniging hierdie belangrike mylpaal vier, bevestig dit weer sy verbintenis tot die bewaring van uitnemendheid in uitsaaiwese, asook die ontwikkeling van nuwe talent deur middel van opleiding, mentorskap en praktiese ervaring in die bedryf.
