A long day of travelling after a long day of meetings yesterday. Up at 3 to make it to the airport and through TSA in time – hampered somewhat by two of our number suddenly being on a ‘no fly’ list due to their country of origin!
Anyway, we made it to Denver, where I found a much needed coffee with it a pretty cool slogan, and the not very reassuring sign to a Tornado Shelter. I also found out today that clearly America is not immune to the need for better copywriters.
My first view of Montana definitely made me think of the Western Cape, something the drive from Bozeman to Helena did nothing to dissuade – the red barns and combination pharmacy and bottle store did bring me back to reality though, but I do feel that the Western Cape could do with more wooden houses…
