Angela Alvarez, a Cuban-born American, born in 1927, won her first grammy 2 years ago.
And you’ve given up on your dream because?
Angela’s whole life has been about music. She has always been writing songs and melodies. Sadly though, they’ve always been undiscovered, until a few years ago, when her grandson, a film composer and producer took the bull by the horns and helped her produce a full album.
And in that same year, she won a Latin grammy for best new artist. And yes, she is the oldest to have ever won in this category.
When she stepped onto the stage to accept her award, she said: “I promise you, it’s never too late.”
So, while it might feel like you can’t chase your dream, for whatever reason, Angela Alvarez says that you can!
