The Orange Horizon Foundation will host a community outreach and donation handout in Gobabis on Tuesday, 1 Septembert 2026, as part of its ongoing Winter Warm-Up Campaign.
The faith-based foundation will combine its winter clothing distribution initiative with a Community Soup Day, providing warm soup and donated winter clothing and essentials to members of the community.
The outreach will also include a short prayer and faith-based message of encouragement.
The Winter Warm-Up Campaign was established to provide practical support to vulnerable members of the Gobabis community during the winter months. The campaign has already included community soup days in Nossobville and Epako, where the foundation distributed warm soup to community members, including elderly people, adults and children.
The upcoming outreach represents another step in the foundation’s efforts to bring together community members, volunteers and supporting businesses to provide practical assistance to those in need.
“We are incredibly grateful to God for giving us the opportunity to serve our community and for every person and business that has contributed towards Winter Warm-Up 2026,” says Winelia Orange, Co-Founder of the Orange Horizon Foundation. “Our hope is that these small acts of service will not only provide practical support but also give hope to those in need as well as encourage more people to see what is possible when a community comes together.”
The foundation continues to welcome donations and partnerships to support its ongoing community initiatives.
