When was the last time you replaced your hairbrush? Apparently, I need to replace mine ASAP.
I kind of grew up with the rule of “If it’s broken, fix it. And don’t keep buying a new something, anything, when you already have one.”
But, it seems that it’s not such a great rule to live by when it comes to your hairbrush, and you should actually replace it every 6 to 12 months.
Why? Well, a hairbrush might be storing bacteria, dandruff, dust, and other elements that pass through your scalp every time you comb your hair. Makes sense. I mean, I replace my toothbrush quite often, so why not my hairbrush?
They say that if you don’t replace your hairbrush often enough, you could be clogging up your hair follicles with bacteria, dust, etc. So it’s better to replace it at least once a year.
I’ll ask you again. When was the last time you replaced your hairbrush?
