Do you wish you were taller?

I’d say that overall I am happy enough with what I look like – I mean, sure I’d be happy to be able to look a little bit more like a Men’s Health cover guy, but I just don’t have that kind of time to dedicate to exercising, and I kinda like sweets and chocolate a little more than I should – but I wouldn’t mind being a little bit taller. Maybe there is an element of body dismorphia going on because I don’t actually feel that tall, when in actual fact I suppose I am a little taller than average.

It is strange to think that something like height can affect people so much, perhaps if I was 9cm taller I would feel like a different person, but then, at 192cm I might feel I was too tall and wish I were a little shorter to be less conspicuous and ‘blend in’ better. I’m pretty sure that if I were 9cm shorter I would definitely feel like a different person, but I’m still not sure I would be that worried about my height that I would be willing to undergo a leg-lenghtening operation!
