BOSA’s Maimane open to coalition talks after local elections

todayNovember 6, 2026

The party contesting its first-ever local government elections will have elected representation in all four metropolitan municipalities in which it contested: Johannesburg, Tshwane, Cape Town and Ekurhuleni. BOSA leader Mmusi Maimane says they will approach the post-election period constructively, and where coalition arrangements are necessary, they will be prepared to engage with other parties in the interests of residents.
