Anastacia is one of the biggest female stars of the past two decades. From her very first album in 2000 quickly followed by her second “Freak of Nature” in 2001, she has consistently charted in Europe, making her one of the biggest female artists worldwide. Unfortunately she is almost as well known for her well-documented and extensive medical issues including being diagnosed with breast cancer twice, Crohn’s disease and supraventricular tachycardia. On September 21 of this year she announced that she is joining German superstar Peter Maffay on his farewell tour in 2024. She released the video of their duet “Just You” on the same day; “Just You” was originally a hit for Maffay in his native German under the title “So bist du” in 1979. The next day, September 22nd, she released her album “Our Songs” – a collection of interpretations of German songs translated into English.
