The Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) Fund is engaging communities and stakeholders across Namibia on proposed amendments to the MVA Fund Act. A public consultation meeting took place in the Oshana region on Tuesday to gather input from residents, local leaders, and industry stakeholders.
Helena Shilongo, Senior Manager for Claims at the MVA Fund, emphasized the importance of public participation in shaping policies that directly affect road safety, compensation processes, and claims management.
The nationwide consultation process is part of the MVA Fund’s commitment to transparency and inclusive policy development, with meetings scheduled in additional regions in the coming weeks.
