The 15th Eenhana Annual Trade and Business Expo is currently underway in the Ohangwena Region. A new feature at this year’s event is a cooking training and competition designed to develop skills among small and medium enterprise (SME) owners.
Ohangwena Governor Kadiva Hamutumua says the expo is focused on youth empowerment, entrepreneurship, sport, arts, and health. The event aims to give local businesses and young people a platform to showcase their talents and products.
Organisers say the SME cooking programme was introduced to encourage innovation in the food industry and help participants turn their skills into sustainable businesses. Exhibitors from various sectors, including agriculture, fashion, food, and crafts, are taking part in the event.
The Eenhana Expo has become one of the leading regional trade events in Namibia, drawing hundreds of visitors and exhibitors from across the country.
