Nova’t Sê Die Jeug puts the microphone in the hands of Namibia’s next generation of broadcasters.
Young voices between the ages of 15 and 20 get the opportunity to develop their skills, share their stories and perspectives, with the guidance of experienced broadcast veterans.
From school and sport to music, entertainment and the issues that matter to young people, it’s an hour filled with energy, fresh ideas and authentic conversation.
At Nova, we believe in developing talent, creating opportunities and passing the torch to the next generation.

Schalk is 15 jaar oud. Hy is ‘n graad 9 leerder by Windhoek Afrikaanse Privaatskool. Schalk hou van radio, want hy voel dit gee vir almal ‘n gelyke stem. Hy is mal oor honde en oor enige sport waarby ‘n bal betrokke is. Behalwe rolbal. Sy onmiddellike toekoms planne is om skool te oorleef!
Tyrone’s passion for radio stems from the way it connects people, tells stories, and brings entertainment to listeners. He is 19 years old, and has been passionate about radio since he first spoke on Red Aloe, Windhoek Gymansiums’ school radio.
He is currently a student of Journalism and Media Technology at NUST, and he hopes to continue developing his skills and building a career in radio and the broader media industry.
Outside of radio, Tyrone’s passion stretches into acting, poetry, writing, and social media. He also enjoys exploring new places, discovering new music, and spending time with friends and family.
Bea is 18 jaar oud en lief daarvoor om te praat. Op radio is dit al wat mens doen en dis hoekom sy so lief is daarvoor. Sy’s ń matrikulant by Windhoek Afrikaanse Privaatskool en kan nie wag om haar loopbaan in radio te bevorder nie.
Eras is n graad 9 leerling by Windhoek Afrikaanse Privaatskool. Hy is lief vir die verhoog en om saam met mense te wees. Hy neem deel aan allerhande aktiwiteite soos drom, kitaar en sang lesse, as ook redenaars en toneelspel.
Joshua is 16 years old, and is deeply passionate about radio because of its incredible power to connect with people everywhere.
Currently in Grade 9, he is a highly competitive individual who used to race go-karts and brings that same energy and drive to the airwaves.
Outside of radio, Joshua loves swimming and thrives on taking on new challenges.
