Background

Iran’s army has warned that any new war could spread well beyond the Middle East, as Iranian negotiators hold a third day of Qatar-mediated talks in Doha aimed at ending the conflict with the United States and Israel. Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei has ordered the armed forces to prepare for an immediate response to any attack. Nick Harper reports from DC.
