
The FNB Namibia Cricket Ground is prepared to host international cricket, including the 2026 ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup and the 2027 ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup.
Cricket Namibia CEO Johan Muller said the venue meets all international standards and is equipped to deliver world-class experiences for players and fans alike. He said that hosting these tournaments will strengthen local cricket development and position Namibia as a destination on the global cricket map.
Preparations are ongoing to ensure facilities, logistics, and security meet ICC requirements ahead of the big events.
